Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Finish End Crew Member at our Stokesdale, NC facility. The primary duty is to safely stack materials and ensure quality for shipments, with strict adherence to specs and quality control procedures.

The role requires standing for long periods, reading gauges and specs, and effective communication. Training emphasizes 5S standards; OT may be required. Shift: 3:00PM – 1:30AM, Monday–Thursday, with some overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must complete the 9th grade and be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read tape measure, caliper, and spec.
• Able to communicate orally and in writing.
• Able to troubleshoot problems and read gauges.
• Comfort with basic quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Safely stack materials and meet quality standards for shipments.
• Inspect products for defects and proper paint coverage; sign off on quality control sheet.
• Grade material to customer specifications; separate out unsuitable material.
• Pack products, create proper counts, and prepare units for shipment.
• Maintain 5S in the work area; assist in other areas as needed.
