Job summary

Aviagen USA is seeking a Feed Mill Technician to operate the full range of processing equipment used in feed production. You will handle receiving, batching, grinding, and pelleting operations, while keeping the plant clean and compliant with FDA, ISO, and bio-security norms.

The role requires basic English/arithmetic skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work well with others. forklift experience is a plus, and the position includes comprehensive benefits as described in the company

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of business English and arithmetic.
• Computer literacy including keyboard skills and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to maintain records and generate precise reports.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment, including receiving, batching, grinding, and pelleting.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete FDA and production reports.
• Maintain Bio-Security Protocol at all times.
• Obtain daily inventories.
• Maintain ISO sampling procedures.
• Engage in preventative maintenance.
• Engage in weekly Plant fumigation.
• May perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.
