Job summary

Pilgrim's Pride Corp. is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to maintain and repair feed mill equipment. You'll troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and support production by addressing mechanical issues promptly.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm with weekends as needed; on-call duties may apply. Candidates should have basic mechanical skills, 1–2 years in industrial maintenance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions with PPE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Read, general math and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment and components.
• Identify parts or machines needing replacement parts.
• Interpret drawings to adjust or repair machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts.
• Respond to production area mechanical issues and communicate with management.
• Complete tasks accurately and efficiently within time/resources.
• Carry out on-call duties as required.
