Responsibilities

• Family Progress - Monitoring and Coaching (70%): complete documentation, oversee visits, schedule visits, coach collaboratively, provide education and support to youth/families, assist youth/families in achieving goals, attend required meetings, ensure professional standards are followed, communicate with related institutions, provide transportation, attend court with clients and render recommendations.
• Service Plans / Goal Development (15%): create and review goals for each family, work with other social welfare agencies.
• Reporting (15%): maintain case and agency paperwork, prepare written reports for the Department of Child Services / Probation office within identified time frames.

Firefly Children & Family Alliance is currently seeking a part‑time Family Support Specialist in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In this role, you will work to provide guidance, direction and documentation of visitation for the families you will serve. You will be exposed to the Department of Children Services and the court system on occasion. You must be comfortable working evening shifts, with a minimum commitment of four nights per week, and be willing and able to transport clients of all ages using your personal vehicle.

Responsibilities
