Job summary

St. Vincent's Family Strengthening Program is seeking a babysitter to provide care and supervision for children in Santa Barbara. You will create a safe, nurturing environment, organize engaging activities, assist with homework, and maintain a clean cottage during your shift.

Requires First Aid/CPR/AED certification, 18+ years old, and ability to work Tuesdays 6:00 pm–8:00 pm. English communication and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED for Pediatric, Infants, and Adults.
• 18+ years of age at time of hire.
• Available Tuesdays 6:00 pm–8:00 pm.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Strong time management and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing supervision for FSP children.
• Entertain children with books, crafts, games, and activities.
• Assist with homework as needed and ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor and parents.
• Follow emergency procedures and report issues promptly.
