Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation tasks inside a building or multiple client sites in Colorado Springs. The role requires flexibility to meet client specifications and upkeep of facilities.

The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 5:30pm–2:00am. The position pays $16.00 per hour with on-the-job training provided for new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months in a janitorial role.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect surfaces.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash cans and manage waste disposal; use compactors when needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned per scope of work or client needs.
