Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school plus one year commercial trades/maintenance experience or equivalency.
  • General knowledge in a variety of skilled trades areas including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Ability to understand cleaning chemicals and their application and dilution ratios.
  • Experience must demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Repairs and performs minor preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Performs a variety of duties in and around buildings and grounds.
  • Light bulb change and fixture and equipment cleaning; painting and carpentry: assists maintenance personnel and other workers with tasks or projects.
  • Perform building snow removal as required.
  • Performs housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain offices, restrooms and public areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Mixes cleaning solutions to appropriate strength.
  • Removes trash from offices and lobby areas.
  • Perform room setups and strikes.
  • Follows established routine.
