Qualifications

• Must work well independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in PC systems and software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate evening custodial operations with staffing and service delivery across facilities.
• Serve as primary contact for Campus Safety and other campus partners for facility needs, emergencies, and concerns.
• Respond to emergency calls and incidents during the evening shift.
• Schedule, train, coach, and evaluate custodial staff and student workers.
• Oversee payroll, work orders, and overtime for custodial coverage and events.
• Inspect facilities and ensure safety, standards, and service levels.
• Conduct staff meetings and performance reviews; communicate plans and expectations.
• Interview applicants and assist in hiring; foster teamwork and accountability.
• Collaborate with Grounds for weather readiness and custodial staffing as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of union contracts and compliance.
