Job summary

Monmouth Regional High School in New Jersey is seeking a NIGHT FACILITIES SUPERVISOR to lead the night custodial and maintenance staff, ensuring a safe, healthy, and efficiently operated building for students and staff.

This position requires an Educational Facilities Manager Certificate and Fireman's Black Seal License (or the ability to obtain within two years), strong supervision and facilities knowledge, and residency in New Jersey or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Educational Facilities Manager Certificate or equivalent.
• Fireman's Black Seal License or ability to obtain within two years.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate departmental staff.
• High level of interpersonal skills for interaction with staff, leaders, vendors.
• Knowledge of architecture, school construction, engineering, plant operation, maintenance, management, and safety.
• Current residency in New Jersey or eligibility to obtain within one year.
• Night shift hours when school is in session, day shift as directed by administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with comprehensive planning and scheduling maintenance for district facilities.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and annual maintenance plans.
• Supervise maintenance and grounds staff; manage schedules and supplies.
• Oversee spring, winter, and summer cleaning programs; snow removal and power loss responses.
• Ensure proper operation of equipment, vehicles, tools and machinery.
• Coordinate facilities for athletics and rentals, including lighting and gate security.
