Job summary

Elderwood Village at Bassett Park is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant for the afternoon/evening shift. Requires at least two years in a facilities maintenance setting and a valid driver license. Responsibilities

• Assists with electricity, plumbing, painting, carpentry and related maintenance tasks.
• Maintains grounds, parking lots, and driveways including snow/ice removal.
• Handles freight and moves heavy furniture/equipment.
• Observes residents' rights and treats everyone with respect.
• Drives company vehicle as needed and maintains punctuality.
• Attends facility staff meetings and contributes ideas to improve care and productivity.
• Performs duties according to safety rules and policies, protecting residents and staff.
