Job summary

The Mount Laurel YMCA in New Jersey is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness across locker rooms, floors and common areas to ensure a safe, healthy member experience.

Shifts are Monday-Thursday 2 PM-10:30 PM and Friday 1 PM-9:30 PM; candidates must be at least 18 with a high school diploma and the ability to operate cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school or technical school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize walls, floors, furniture, and equipment using proper supplies.
• Set up and break down equipment for programs and activities.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and maintain safety of members and staff.
• Keep closets and work areas neat, organized, and labeled.
