Job summary

The University of Kansas is seeking a Custodian for the Residential Day shift to perform cleaning and sanitation of residential bath areas, general floor care for carpeted and hard floors, and setup for special programs. Duties include trash removal, furniture movement, and operating cleaning equipment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with possible weekend rotation; benefits include vacation, sick leave, holidays, retirement, medical and dental insurance, and tuition assistance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bath fixtures and common areas daily.
• Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment.
• Move furniture and set up spaces for programs.
• Follow safety procedures and MSDS guidelines.
• Assist with special projects and event setups.
