Job summary

Stryker in Portage, MI is seeking a team member to produce high quality fabricated parts and operate fabrication equipment such as drill presses, weld stations, saws, and related tooling. You will perform set-up, work preparation, fabrication, cleanup, and basic preventative maintenance.

You will conduct inspections per gage plans, ensure quality and record-keeping, meet production goals, and comply with policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate fabrication equipment and read work instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality fabricated parts using fabrication equipment.
• Operate production lines as loaded/unloader or on drill press, weld nut, saw, or similar.
• Conduct inspections per gage plans and troubleshoot as needed.
• Set up, prep, fabricate, clean up, and perform preventative maintenance of machines.
• Maintain records in compliance with Stryker specifications.
• Meet production goals and adhere to quality standards while following policies.
• Work schedule and overtime, including weekends.
