Job summary

Stryker Group in Portage, MI is seeking a production/fabrication associate. Mon–Fri 1:45pm–10:15pm with overtime; operate metal fabrication equipment to cut, bend, form and shape components following procedures. You will set up, run, inspect, and document quality for parts and maintain clean work areas.

Requirements include 2 years manufacturing and 1 year fabrication experience; HS diploma or GED preferred. Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of fabrication experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality fabricated parts using various fabrication equipment.
• Operate production as load/unload, drill press, weld nut, saw, or other basic fabrication equipment.
• Conduct inspections with gage plans and use inspection equipment as needed.
