Job summary

Stryker is seeking a dedicated manufacturing associate for the Portage, MI facility. You will fabricate, assemble, and inspect parts using various fabrication equipment, ensuring adherence to gage plans and quality standards.

You will also handle setup, tooling, and routine housekeeping to maintain a safe, efficient work area. The role includes a Monday–Thursday second shift with a 4:00 pm–2:30 am schedule, a $20.50/hr base rate plus a $2.00 shift premium, and bonus eligibility along with

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality fabricated parts using various fabrication equipment.
• Run production as a loader/unloader or at a drill press station, weld nut station, saw, or other basic fabrication equipment and tooling.
• Conduct inspections in accordance with relevant gage plans, operating required inspection equipment and troubleshooting as needed.
• Set up, prepare work, fabricate, clean up, maintain machine center, and ensure quality assurance of own work and workspace.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production goals.
• Maintain all record‑keeping as required and in accordance with Stryker specifications.
• Commit to quality by striving for reliability and quality in products, continuously seeking ways to enhance performance and meet all training and documentation criteria.
• Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
