Job summary

Sharp TriCity is seeking an Environmental Services Support Aide for the evening shift. The role involves cleaning patient areas, handling linen and waste, and contributing to infection control across inpatient and administrative spaces.

You will operate floor care equipment and maintain floor surfaces according to hospital standards, while supporting a safe environment. This position emphasizes teamwork and adherence to the Sharp way of service.

Qualifications

• Experience stripping, waxing, buffing OR floors per AORN guidelines.
• Experience operating floor scrubber/buffing equipment.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect bio waste and trash throughout the facility and dispose of it properly.
• Collect and distribute linen across the facility.
• Maintain and clean floors according to standards and assigned schedule.
• Move patient beds and relocate furniture as needed.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment and proper use of PPE and signage.
• Maintain infection control and hospital requirements as part of the role.
