Job summary

The Seattle Aquarium is seeking an Event Production Representative to support evening rental events and provide on-site leadership during events. This part-time role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing AV operations, and delivering high-quality guest experiences.

You will work closely with guests, partners, and volunteers, ensuring safety and conservation awareness while supporting administrators with tasks and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in event support and supervisory roles.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
• Multilingual and multicultural communication experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the On-Site Lead for designated events and provide collaborative support for internal events.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams during events to ensure guest safety and service quality.
• Train, direct, and support event staff and volunteers on shift.
• Manage presentation assets, run PowerPoints, and edit video/audio for virtual events.
• Provide hands-on support during setup and takedown, ensuring logistical needs are met.
• Complete timely post-event reports and escalate issues to maintain quality.
• Assist with administrative tasks and special projects to support department goals.
