Job summary

Trail Drive Management Corp. in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a part-time Event Technology Support Technician to assist our Technology team during arena events.

You will troubleshoot IT and tech issues across Food & Beverage, Ticketing, Guest Services, and Operations, primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule, with 100% on-site work. The role emphasizes customer service, rapid problem solving, and coordination with network staff during live events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service, technical support, help desk, or related experience.
• Ability to independently investigate technical issues and identify resolutions.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Basic understanding of wired and wireless networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on events.
• Effective communication with management, guests, and team members.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technology support during arena events and functions.
• Respond to and troubleshoot technology issues impacting staff, guests, vendors, and operations.
• Document incidents, steps taken, and resolutions.
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach in venue operations.
• Monitor venue Wi‑Fi and wireless infrastructure performance during events.
• Assist with troubleshooting wireless connectivity affecting systems.
• Support diagnosis of access point, endpoint, and device connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with network staff on escalated wireless and connectivity issues.
• Use network test equipment to verify wired copper and fiber connections.
• Support testing and validation of network drops, patch panels, switches, and devices.
• Assist with POS terminals, printers, payment devices, and peripherals for F&B operations.
• Support Guest Services and Ticket Operations with technology-related concerns like scanners and handhelds.
• Coordinate with 24/7 communications teams regarding radio and system issues.
• Assist with deployment, collection, and basic configuration of communications equipment.
• Support technology needs in various venue areas and event control zones.
• Help users with workstation, software, printer, mobile device, and peripheral issues.
• Assist with password resets, account troubleshooting, and general user support.
