Job summary

RiseBoro Community Partnership is seeking an evening-shift ESOL instructor to teach adult learners at our Brooklyn location. You will develop lesson plans, maintain portfolios, assess progress, and align instruction with program contracts and goals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and is available for weekday evenings; NYC DOE teaching license is preferred. This nonprofit role emphasizes equity, inclusion, and community empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to ESOL students.
• Prepare weekly lesson plans incorporating computer-based resources.
• Maintain students’ portfolios and track progress with assessments.

• Work with Case Managers to support student goals and contract requirements.
