Job summary

YWCA Tri-County Area is seeking an English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) Academic Coach in Pottstown, PA. The part-time role (8 hours/week) pays $21.00/hour and includes planning time.

The instructor will teach ESL Level II, develop digital literacy, and use a web-based platform to support adult learners from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities include lesson planning, student progress documentation, and collaboration with a team of teachers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience teaching ESL to adults preferred.
• Comfort with web-based instruction and digital literacy development.

Responsibilities

• Teach ESL Level II to adults focusing on listening, speaking, writing and reading.
• Plan lessons and participate in professional development.
• Create supplemental activities to reinforce concepts and support progress.
