Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time, evening shifts in a busy acute care setting. The RN will provide patient-centered care using established nursing processes, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and support emergency service needs including triage and stabilization.

Required 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations; BCLS; RN license in good standing.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• Experience with adult and emergency patient care is preferred
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and nursing processes
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects
• Assists physicians during procedures within the scope of competency
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and data collection for patient outcomes
• Emergency Services RN: triage, stabilization, and support in trauma situations
