Job summary

The role requires 1-2 years clinical nursing experience; strong leadership, communication, infection control, and proficiency with hospital information systems.

Works with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and care quality.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• RN licensure in state or compact.
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
• Evaluates staff performance and provides coaching to maintain high standards of care.
• Oversees assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Coordinates with healthcare teams to optimize patient flow and care delivery.
• Ensures communication among physicians, patients, families, and departments; manages handoffs and huddles.
• Monitors bed assignments and resource utilization within the unit.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
