Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Regular Full Time Patient Access Representative for the Emergency Department. You will schedule prescribed procedures and gather demographic, insurance and clinical information to support the process.

This role emphasizes communication, teamwork, and efficient problem-solving in a high-energy setting. Training occurs the first two weeks, with evenings 2:45pm–11:15pm and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient access, EHR, healthcare, and customer service.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient procedures and coordinate with clinical teams.
• Enter patient demographics, insurance, and clinical information into systems.
• Assist with pre-certification/authorization processes.
• Provide counseling to patients and families on pre-service requirements.
• Handle receptionist duties and patient registration.
