Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a part-time evening schedule (3pm–3:30am) with on-call duties and every other weekend. The role requires a BSN (or ADN with plan to obtain BSN within three years), Illinois RN licensure, and BLS certification.

The team emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• BSN is required and RN licensure in Illinois must be active.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.
• ADN acceptable if there is a plan to obtain a BSN within three years of employment.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills are essential.
• Willingness to work evenings and every other weekend on assignment.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient-centered nursing care to acutely ill ED patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and staff; document in health records.
• Participate in governance and unit projects as assigned.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to inform care decisions.
