Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, IN. This full-time, evening shift role is 0.9 FTE (36 hrs/week), 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., in a high-acuity ED environment.

RN licensure in Indiana is required; ASN is required and BSN preferred. The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Indiana RN license.
• BSN within five years of employment for hires after 2014.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patients, initiate and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
• Maintain and update patient records in accordance with guidelines.
• Demonstrate adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
