Job summary
VSSI Staffing Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Katy, TX. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to support safe and efficient operations.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This role requires working an evening shift (3:00 PM–12:00 AM) on a Monday–Friday schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Diagnose problems involving pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Complete equipment repairs promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair documentation.
- Follow established safety procedures and company standards.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
- Work independently while supporting the production and maintenance teams.
