Job summary

City of Hope is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming patient and public areas on the 2nd shift. You will dust, mop, sanitize, and support infection prevention and patient experience through strong service orientation.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and be able to follow written and oral instructions. Schedule: Mon-Fri 2:30 PM–11:00 PM with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing assigned areas.
• Cleaning furniture, fixtures, and other common surfaces.
• Emptying trash and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Maintaining patient rooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Following infection prevention, safety, and environmental standards.
• Supporting a positive patient and visitor experience through excellent customer service.
