Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services team member in Concord, NC to perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks. The role runs 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM) with rotating weekends and a 40-hour week in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machines.
• Ability to work with others in a team and maintain cooperative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing, and polishing surfaces.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures.
• Sweep, scrub and refinish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpet.
• Restock restrooms and change light bulbs; report repairs.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
