Job summary

Wabash General Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Tech to maintain a clean, sanitized environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role includes securing parking areas and keeping a security log, with doors locked/unlocked to ensure safety across hospital and satellite sites.

The position requires a High School Graduate (preferred), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate preferred.
• May be required to work any day of the week including holidays and weekends.
• May be required to perform call back duties.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Dependable Vehicle for Transportation to off campus facilities.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds frequently; 75 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean, sanitized environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain security for parking areas and logging in safety-related activities.
• Lock/unlock doors to ensure safety and assist with security.
• Complete tasks timely and accurately while protecting patient confidentiality.
• Support facilities beyond the hospital (off-campus sites) as needed.
