Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician II at Swedish Hospital in Chicago, IL. This part-time, per diem role offers evenings from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will perform cleaning of patient rooms and ancillary areas per standards. Responsibilities include daily and terminal cleaning, waste handling, carpet care, and furniture cleaning to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning of patient rooms and ancillary areas per standards.
• Terminal cleaning of rooms including negative pressure areas per policy.
• Repairs and replenishes supplies to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.
• Transports and disposes of regular, hazardous, and medical waste per policy.
• Cleans carpets, walls, ceilings, lights, and refinishes floors as needed.
• Performs additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the department.
