Qualifications

• High School Required; 1 year experience in environmental services or housekeeping, healthcare preferred.
• Certified in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, public areas, and staff workspaces following hospital protocols.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces to prevent infections.
• Maintain an organized cart with cleaning supplies and PPE.
• Follow infection control guidelines to minimize infection risk.
• Follow isolation procedures when cleaning rooms of contagious patients.
• Report issues or potential infection control breaches to supervisor.
• Safely collect, transport, and dispose of medical waste and trash per policies.
