Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of institutional housekeeping experience, supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• CHEST certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and good public relations.
• Demonstrates ability to provide clear expectations to department personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring safety and sanitation standards.
• Train and orient new employees on cleaning procedures, chemical safety, and equipment use.
• Monitor workflow and quality through facility tours and checklists.
• Issue and track supplies, maintain records, and report equipment repairs promptly.
• Provide in-service training and assist with performance evaluations and staff counseling.
