St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Attendant in Memphis. You will perform cleaning, move equipment, and floor care to maintain a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The role requires adaptability, problem‑solving, and attention to safety; you will follow waste disposal procedures and collaborate with the team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and infection control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in environmental services preferred.
• Basic knowledge of biohazardous and/or hazardous waste management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, move equipment and furniture, and floor care under direct supervision.
• Handle biohazardous waste and regular trash per disposal procedures.
• Maintain PPE in good condition as required by safety assessments.
• Provide patients, visitors, and staff with a safe, clean environment.
• Clean various spaces including Patient Care, Public, Clinical, Research, Laboratory, Meeting and Office areas.
• Maintain regular attendance and contribute to department goals.
