Job summary

Lakewood Health System in Minnesota seeks an Environmental Services Aide to maintain cleanliness and safety across facilities. The part-time role supports patient and staff areas, with a 3:00pm–11:30pm shift, weekends and holidays as needed.

You will perform cleaning duties, stock supplies, and help ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Ideal candidates have a driver’s license and strong customer service, with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work well in a team or

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and well organized.
• Good communicator; able to work independently.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 35 lbs daily.

Responsibilities

• Routinely clean hospital floor rooms, labor and delivery rooms, nurses station, restrooms, lobby and other areas as assigned.
• Follow seven-step cleaning process and maintain health care standards.
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, wall cleaning, trash removal, window cleaning and restocking supplies.
• Learn about infectious and hazardous waste removal, storage and clean up.
