Children’s National Hospital is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to clean and sanitize rooms and furnishings across the assigned areas. You will follow established policies and procedures to maintain a safe, sterile hospital environment.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, trash removal, linen handling, and restocking supplies while upholding patient-centered service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions; communicate positively with patients, families, and staff
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and related devices as listed

Responsabilités

• Perform routine, specialized cleaning in assigned areas.
• Follow policies and procedures for daily cleaning; may include Operating Room, Cardiac Cath Lab, Recovery, MRI, etc.
• Maintain sterile fields as required by department policy
• Replace linens and trash as needed; restock supplies and assist in meetings room setups
