Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking an Engineering Associate for the Portland Downtown location. This evening shift role focuses on maintenance, repair of hotel property, and supporting engineering operations to ensure guest satisfaction.

You will work with the Chief Engineer on preventive maintenance, inspections, and capital expenditures, while providing exceptional guest service and maintaining a safe, clean work space throughout the property.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and customer-focused.
• Ability to perform duties in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering operations and maintenance of hotel property, equipment, and grounds.
• Support Chief Engineer with preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and capital projects.
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, high-service manner.
• Assist guests with property knowledge, room repairs, and common area maintenance.
• Operate standard engineering equipment and uphold safety procedures.
