Job summary

Northern Essex Community College (NECC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach Engineering, Engineering Technology, and Physics at the Haverhill campus. Most classes are evening sessions as part of the STEM Division, with potential online or hybrid options in the future.

Successful candidates will join a pool for Spring 2027 courses (CTE112, EST104) and may teach additional courses based on demand, enrollment, and mandatory training completion. Positions contingent on enrollment and department needs.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a related discipline at the college level.
• Experience using technology in instruction and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses according to Academic Catalog description and established departmental student learning outcomes.
• Adhere to all NECC policies and MCCC contract requirements, including policies regarding grading, deadlines, evaluation process, syllabus requirements, materials posted on the LMS, and required meetings.
