Job summary

Baptist Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Department Pharmacist for Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time evening shift (13:00–23:30) offers a 7-on/7-off rotation and entails entering orders, supervising staff, and consulting with the medical team on patient therapy and pharmacokinetics.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, registration with the State Board of Pharmacy, DOH licensure, and hospital pharmacy experience with pharmacy information systems.

Responsibilities

• Enters orders with great accuracy.
• Checks technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervises technicians and serves on committees as assigned.
• Answers questions for all health care professionals.
• Serves as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
• Monitors patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics service.
