Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Emergency Department Pharmacist for the Baptist South location. This full-time, evening-shift role runs 13:00 to 23:30 with a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule.

Responsibilities include entering orders accurately, supervising technicians, answering questions for healthcare staff, and consulting with the medical staff while monitoring patient therapy and pharmacokinetics services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science is required.
• Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Licensed Pharmacist - DOH is required.

Responsibilities

• Enters orders with great accuracy.
• Checks technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervises technicians and serves on committees as assigned.
• Answers questions for all health care professionals.
• Serves as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
• Monitors patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics service.
