Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Emergency Department Pharmacist for Baptist South. This full-time, evening-shift role runs 13:00 to 23:30 on a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule.

You will enter orders accurately, review technician work, supervise staff, answer questions from care teams, and serve as a medical staff consultant while monitoring patient therapy. Required qualifications include a Bachelor of Science, Registered Pharmacist with the State Board of Pharmacy, and DOH

Responsibilities

• Enters orders with great accuracy.
• Checks technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervises technicians and serves on committees as assigned.
• Answers questions for all health care professionals.
• Serves as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
• Monitors patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics service.

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add an Emergency Department Pharmacist to our Pharmacy at Baptist South located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full time, evening shift, opportunity to work 7 days on, 7 days off. The schedule would be evening shift, working 13:00 to 23:30.
