Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Emergency Department Pharmacist to join Baptist South, with an evening schedule 13:00 to 23:30. This is a full-time position arranged as 7 days on, 7 days off.

Location is Baptist South. The ED Pharmacist will enter orders accurately, supervise technicians, consult with medical staff, and monitor therapies including pharmacokinetics as part of the hospital pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with an active license (State Board of Pharmacy) required.
• Licensed Pharmacist – DOH required.
• Bachelor of Science degree required.

Responsibilities

• Enters orders with great accuracy.
• Checks technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervises technicians and serves on committees as assigned.
• Answers questions for all health care professionals.
• Serves as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
• Monitors patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics service.
