Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Valley, NE is seeking an Electromechanical Technician I to install, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, powering critical infrastructure and smart agricultural operations.

This is a 3rd shift (Sun-Thu 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) with a starting pay of $36.90/hour plus a $2.00/hour shift differential, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified EMT II. Interview includes an online assessment and hands-on test; Valmont offers Total Wellbeing benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• Basic experience or technical training in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Familiarity with industrial tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing motors, drives, relays, sensors, and controllers.
• Reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Supporting production operations and equipment efficiency.
• Following all safety protocols and contributing to a safe work environment.
