Job summary

The RN Manager is accountable for leading people, processes, and programs that support direct patient care while driving clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Maryland.
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required.
• 3-5 years Emergency Department clinical experience.
• Prior leadership experience (Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager).

Responsibilities

• Lead evening shift Emergency Department operations, ensuring safe, efficient patient flow and throughput.
• Collaborate with physician leadership and fellow managers to ensure consistent 24/7 department performance.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation aligned to volume and acuity.
• Hire, coach, and develop nursing staff and frontline leaders.
• Foster a high-performing, engaged team environment focused on collaboration and accountability.
• Support professional development, succession planning, and staff retention.
• Lead change initiatives and promote innovation in care delivery.
