Job summary

Holy Cross Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Germantown on a 12-hour evening shift. You will deliver evidence-based care as part of an interdisciplinary team, focusing on the whole patient—physically, emotionally and spiritually.

You will plan and manage care using the nursing process, educate patients and families, and communicate with the health care team to ensure seamless continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by Maryland State Board or Compact State.
• BLS certification; Life Support training preferred for unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage care of routine patients using the nursing process and continuum of care planning.
• Effectively communicate patient/family information to the health care team.
