Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem's Edward Hospital in Naperville is seeking an experienced RN for the Pediatric Emergency Department evening shift. This full-time role is 36 hours per week, with evening hours 1:00pm–1:00am, and every third weekend plus rotating holidays.

The successful candidate will hold an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher (with BSN within five years if ADN), have 1+ year ED experience, an Illinois RN license, and current CPR.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in Nursing; BSN within five years if ADN.
• 1+ year ED experience required.
• IL RN licensure; CPR; ACLS within 3 months; PALS within 3 months; NIHSS within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per the Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations.
• Delegate tasks and function as a team member to meet unit goals.
