Job summary

Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, MA, is seeking an Emergency Department Lead RN for the 3p–11:30p evening shift, 32 hours per week. You will work on-site under the Director or Nurse Manager to coordinate patient flow, supervise nursing staff, and ensure high-quality care in a fast-paced ED environment.

The role requires a nursing degree, MA RN license, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least 3 years in the specialty; BSN preferred and leadership experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Massachusetts.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• BSN preferred; specialty certification and leadership experience appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to staff, including scheduling and assignment of patient care.
• Serve as clinical expert and resource; assist with orientation and staff development.
• Promote quality patient care and staff satisfaction through effective communication and resource management.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care; supervise nursing staff and inform leadership of issues.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Foster a professional environment that encourages open communication and continuous learning.
