Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Maple Grove, MN. Schedule includes Tuesday–Friday 3:00pm–9:00pm and every other weekend 4:00pm–9:00pm. Wage is $18.50 hourly with company benefits.

The DSP will assist individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, transportation, and community activities. Responsibilities include implementing personalized plans, supporting behavior management, meal prep, and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for Adult Programs
• Must be 21+ for Youth Programs
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Have a vehicle for work with current insurance
• Clear DHS Background Study required
• Comfortable providing personal cares including medication administration

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal goals and daily living tasks (meal prep, outings, hygiene, shopping, cleaning)
• Provide supervision and transportation in the community; use company vehicle or own vehicle as needed
• Support with personal cares and medication administration as required
• Respond to challenging behaviors as part of daily supports
• Work on tailored outcomes and life skills with individuals in home and community
