Lowe in Georgia is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs. The role runs Monday through Friday, 3 PM–11 PM, delivering personal care, daily living support, and community integration.

The DSP will help with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication monitoring, nutrition, record-keeping, and safety. A CNA license and CPR/First Aid are required, along with background checks and TB screening.

Competenze

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have 2+ years of experience with individuals with dual diagnosis.
• CNA license required to perform personal care tasks.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications required.
• Must pass criminal background checks and TB screening annually.

Mansioni

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide health monitoring and medication administration support.
• Assist with nutrition, meal preparation, and feeding when necessary.
• Promote independence according to ISP/POC.
• Maintain daily activity and health records (MAR tracking, etc.).
• Transport individuals to community services as needed.
• Uphold ethical standards and report abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
