Job summary

Richcroft is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a Full-Time, Weekday position at Carroll County/Stone Chapel. The role involves providing hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including personal hygiene, activities, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 3pm to 8pm, with males as the primary client group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current driver’s license with fewer than 3 points on driving record.
• Must be able to transport people supported as needed.
• Some lifting and transferring may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with participation and exploration of the community.
• Cultivate and expand independent living skills.
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
• Assist with development of meaningful and personal relationships.
• Complete required documentation (e.g., incident reports, progress notes, behavior data, fire drills etc.).
• Administer and record medications pursuant to State and Agency requirements.
