Job summary

Hope Residence – The Lutheran Home Association is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Belle Plaine, MN. Positions include full-time and part-time with evenings and weekend shifts, offering a competitive starting wage and shift differentials.

This role provides hands-on, person-centered support in a long-term facility, helping residents with daily living, health, safety, and meaningful activities in a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Ability to meet Minnesota DHS background study requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals served.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Monitor health and safety of individuals.
• Observe, document, and report behavioral, medical, and program-related concerns to supervisors.
• Implement behavior support plans and de-escalation strategies as needed.
• Support medication administration as trained and authorized.
• Participate in community outings and social activities.
